Can I Help the School? |
Listed below are events arising in the months ahead
where parent help is much appreciated. Some of these
events are being coordinated by the school and others
by the parents committee. If you think you can help
in any way please contact the school secretary for
further information
- Monthly
coffee mornings in the school, with principal
and/or vice principal
- Event
associated with the Transition Year Play in early
April
- Event
around the Awards day/evening for final year students
in mid-May
- Sports
and Family Day on a Sunday during May
- Public
lecture & cheese and wine in September
- Christmas
Parents event
- Cultural
themed evening around reporting / video / photos
of post-summer (trips to Spain, Italy, Eastern
Europe) for students and parents (September)
- Promotion
evenings for the school
- Open
days in April, September and November
- Family
event around the summer course for 4th to 6th
class primary & 1st year secondary to be held
in the second 2 weeks in July.
- Any
fathers who could be available to help on overnights
- Parents
who could make themselves available for mock interviews
or relevant career talks or current issues talks
- Fundraising
related to current school improvements.
